Can any of my US followers tell me if it’s hard to find graduate jobs in agriculture, particularly in agribusiness?
I’ve always been under the assumption that it’s highly competitive and hard to find jobs. Although I just had a quick search online and found lots of positions for trainee grain traders (what I want to do). Maybe the crap commodity prices are scaring people away haha. I
I was originally planning on going over there once I graduate (July 2015) but recently my girlfriend and I have decided that I might be better off working here for 18 months. The main reason for that is so I have a better chance at scoring a job in the US and also I would earn at least 15k/yr more in Australia. But then again, I’d much rather be there sooner rather than later.
